February school break is almost upon us, and this vacation is the perfect time to kick off college visits for high school juniors. I wanted to share some of my favorite resources that I personally rely on when planning my own campus travels.

First, Hedberg Maps creates an inexpensive college map that is small, user-friendly and packed with helpful information about 1,200 colleges located throughout the United States. I have used my own map countless times over the years as evidenced by its creases and torn edges, and clients frequently mention that the map is a must-have not only during college visit planning but also throughout the college search process.

Hedberg MapsIn addition, the College Atlas & Planner from Wintergreen Orchard House is an invaluable tool for anyone planning to tour colleges. To supplement these helpful publications, create a free account at Go See Campus to access an online college trip planner among other resources.
